Truthful brand stories last.

I help businesses find what is worth saying, then turn it into brands, stories, campaigns, content and experiences people actually want to engage with.

Strategy • Brand • Creative • Content • Discovery

What if the brief is the problem?

I don't jump straight into the thing you've asked for. A brand. A website. A content plan. A social strategy.

Sometimes that's exactly what you need. Sometimes it's only the symptom.

So I ask questions. What are you actually trying to achieve? Who are you trying to reach? What do they care about? What do you know that they don't? What's changed? What's true? What's getting in the way?

And, perhaps most importantly, why?

A better question can change the entire brief.

Find what is worth saying.

Every business has a story. Not every part of it is worth telling.

I find the bit that is. The truth behind the business, the thing you do differently, the expertise you've stopped noticing, the detail that makes someone think "that's exactly why I'd choose them."

That's where strategy and brand start.

Tell it well.

Once we know what matters, we work out how to say it. A website. An article. A video. A campaign. The medium follows the idea, not the other way around.

I create content that comes from the strategy and the story.

A great idea is no use if nobody finds it.

The way people discover businesses keeps changing; word of mouth, Google, social, reviews, YouTube, AI. Tomorrow it'll be something else. The technology changes. People don't.

They still want to know who you are, whether they can trust you, and whether you can solve their problem. So I make sure the story travels and holds up wherever someone finds it. That's discovery.

I don't separate the story from the technology. Both have to work.

What I do.

Five areas. All connected, all built on the same idea: find the truth, tell it well, make sure it's found.

Strategy

Sometimes you don't need more marketing. You need to work out what the marketing is supposed to do.

  • Brand strategy

  • Positioning

  • Customer & audience insight

  • Marketing & campaign strategy

  • Content strategy

  • Go-to-market thinking

  • Marketing planning

Brand

Your brand isn't your logo. It's what people understand, remember and expect when they encounter you.

  • Brand positioning

  • Brand identity

  • Messaging & tone of voice

  • Brand architecture

  • Brand storytelling

  • Brand guidelines

Creative

Good creative isn't decoration. It's an idea that makes something clearer, more interesting or harder to ignore.

  • Campaign concepts & creative direction

  • Advertising & integrated campaigns

  • Content concepts

  • Photography direction

  • Video concepts

  • Experiences

Content

You probably don't need to post more stuff. You need something worth saying.

  • Website content

  • Articles, blogs & thought leadership

  • Video scripts

  • Social content

  • Email content

  • Campaign & sales materials

Discovery

Discovery should make your story easier to find, understand and act on.

  • SEO

  • AI search visibility

  • Google Business Profile & Bing presence

  • Structured data / schema

  • Social & email distribution

  • Marketing automation & CRM

  • Analytics

  • Authority, PR & reputation

How I work.

I'm not really an agency. I'm not really a consultant either.

I'm Ruth. I work directly with you, lead the thinking, and stay close to the work.

When a project needs specialist skills, I bring in the right people; designers, developers, photographers, videographers, PR specialists, technical specialists. People who are brilliant at the bit I need them to do.

You don't have to manage all of that. You get one strategic brain across strategy, brand, creative, content and discovery. And I get to build the right team around your problem, rather than forcing your problem into a team I already have.

The Process.

Question. What's actually going on?

Find. What's true, interesting and worth saying?

Make. What should we create?

Put it somewhere. Where will people and AI actually encounter it?

Listen. What happened? What did people respond to? What didn't they? What did we learn?

Then we go again. Good marketing isn't a thing you finish. It's a conversation.

Find the story. Tell it well. Make it discoverable.

I believe good storytelling starts with something real. I don't believe you need to invent a brand story. I think you need to find the one that's already there. So that's where I start.

I want to know about your business. The people behind it. How it started. What you care about. What your customers love. What you're brilliant at. The little things you probably don't even think are interesting anymore because you're too close to them.

That's usually where the good stuff is.
